100% Pasture-Raised Turkey made with Organic Sweet Potato, Pumpkin, & Beet

  • Pasture-Raised Turkey: In addition to protein, turkey is full of B vitamins which support energy production, amino acid formation, the production of neurotransmitters, and the formation of red blood cells. Turkey is also a great source of selenium (supports thyroid function and metabolic health), zinc (supports immunity, gene expression, and a number of enzymatic reactions in the body), and phosphorus (supports bone health). Our turkey is carefully sourced and pasture-raised. Read more about the benefits of pasture-raised meats over conventional meats from one of our suppliers, White Oak Farms.
  • Organic Pumpkin: Contains vitamins A, C, and E, plus lutein, zeaxanthin, iron, and folate. Pumpkin also packs antioxidants and carotenoids that can boost the immune system and support eye health.
  • Organic Sweet Potato: Rich in fiber, antioxidants, and beta carotene, a form of vitamin A that can support vision and immunity.
  • Organic Beet: Beets are full of fiber and a number of vitamins and minerals, like folate, vitamin C, and magnesium. They also contain dietary nitrates which convert to nitric oxide in the body and help improve blood flow.
  • Organic Avocado Oil: While many oils are inflammatory and damaging to your health, avocado oil has a relatively low level of omega 6 fatty acids (read more on why you want to keep your omega 3:6 ratio low here!). It also has a high smoke point, meaning it can tolerate a higher heat in cooking and avoid dangerous oxidation.

  • Organic Green Pea: The high protein and fiber content of peas makes them an especially filling veggie. They’re also a good plant source of vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, thiamine. Folate, manganese, and iron.
  • Organic Celery: Don’t let its reputation as a bland diet food fool you. Celery is full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. It also supports digestion thanks to its fiber content and pectin-based polysaccharides.
  • Organic Tomato Paste: Tomato paste is a thick paste made by cooking tomatoes for several hours to reduce the water content and then straining out the seeds and skins. Since tomato paste is just highly concentrated tomatoes, it shares the health benefits of tomatoes. It is a good source of antioxidants, especially lycopene, and also contains vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K.
  • Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil: As we’ve discussed in our article on industrial seed oils, the vast majority of oils used for cooking and in processed foods are inflammatory and damaging to your health. Olive oil is one of the few oils (alongside coconut and avocado oils) that is health-promoting and full of essential fatty acids that promote brain development and help digest fat-soluble vitamins.
  • Organic Garlic: Garlic packs a powerful punch in a small package. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties so potent that garlic was historically used as a medicine, and garlic supplements are still used commonly in holistic medicine today. Garlic is also loaded with antioxidants that have been linked to cardiovascular and neurological benefits.
  • Organic Basil: This popular herb is full of beneficial plant compounds that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Basil has long been used as a remedy for all sorts of ailments in traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and modern-day holistic medicine.
  • Organic Oregano: Oregano is considered a medicinal herb by many thanks to its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Himalayan Sea Salt: Just a tiny amount of salt typically helps other flavors pop. While table salt and Himalayan sea salt consist mostly of sodium chloride, Himalayan sea salt also has dozens of other minerals and trace elements.

Additionally, exposing babies early to the complex flavors of turkey, bone broth, and functional herbs can set them up for healthier eating later in life. Fun fact: when it comes to our Bone Broth Recipe Collection, we call them “toddler purees” because they especially appeal to an older palate, but any baby six months and up can enjoy them!

In our pouched purees, you’ll never find any fake stuff or any junk. Every ingredient has intention behind its nutrition and its flavor profile. When it comes to our turkey recipes, we hope your babes gobble them up!, because #everybitecounts.
