Can my Serenity Kids pouches be microwaved?
No. Our pouches are designed to be enjoyed at room temperature, but if your babe prefers them warm or you’ve stored an open pouch in the refrigerator, we suggest that you place the pouch in hot water or a bottle warmer. Do not microwave.
At what age can a baby start eating Serenity Kids?
We recommend waiting to introduce solids until a baby is at least six months old. In special cases, doctors may recommend introducing solids earlier. Luckily, we’ve created a great first food for your little one! As with all first foods that you give your baby, it’s a great idea to test for an allergic reaction to individual ingredients. You can actually do this yourself by introducing single foods one at a time. Having said all this, if your healthy babe isn’t interested in solid foods at six months, there is no reason to rush into it just yet. Trust your intuition and your baby's – you’ve got this!
How soon can babies eat meat?
A little-known truth is that fatty meats are actually a great first food for your little one. A baby's stomach already contains all the enzymes necessary to digest meat and breastmilk is animal fat and protein. My son struggles with Hypotonia (weakened muscles) and sensitive to most foods (very food sensitive). He will eat anything, as long as it is puréed. He has several other diagnosis’ to work through. We have a very busy schedule with therapies and specialists and don’t always have time to purée everything for him.
With his brain diagnosis, he is prone to seizures. That being said, we limit his sugar intake (including fruits). It is very difficult to find pouches without fruit in them. Then I found Serenity Kids! They have a great variety of pouches with just meat and veggies. I love them and so does my son!

I felt so lost when it came to giving my little one purées and solids; however when I found serenity kids and these pouches it all seems so easy.
My little one loves eating from the pouch or from his spoon, but either way he is now excited to eat solids. With the freshness of the pouches it gives me a peace of mind that my little one is getting what he needs now.

What is the shelf life of your pouches? +
Unopened pouches can be consumed up to 18 months from the date of manufacture. You can find the best by date on the back of the pouch under the nutrition facts panel.
Can my Serenity Kids pouches be frozen? +
Yes! Once opened, you can freeze the puree within 24 hours of opening. This way your babe can have it for later consumption! You also can freeze the entire unopened pouched and its contents – popsicles, anyone?
How long will an open baby food pouch last? +
We recommend eating or freezing it within 24 hours of opening.
