Paleo Peppermint Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla (or regular) almond milk (like Three Trees)
  • 1-2 tbsp melted dark chocolate or unsweetened raw cacao powder (The rule of thumb when it comes to paleo and chocolate is the higher the percentage of cacao, the better. Choose an option that's at least 70% dark chocolate & dairy-free).
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (or other paleo sweetener and measurement of your liking)
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • A dollop of our sugar-free peppermint whipped cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat up all the ingredients on the stove (don’t boil)
  2. Let cool a bit and carefully blend your warm mixture in a blender
  3. Serve at a toddler-safe temperature and enjoy!
