We are excited to be partnered with Clean Label Project, a nonprofit consumer protection group. We are among the first baby foods to receive their Clean Label Project Purity Award. They rigorously tested our products for over 200 different contaminants including heavy metals, glyphosate, agrochemicals, plastics, and other toxins, and determined that Serenity Kids meets their highest standard.
The soil has become increasingly contaminated in the last century. These contaminants make it into much of the U.S. food supply, even when it’s grown organically. Therefore, we wanted to be extra careful that the ingredients we feed our babies are as clean and safe as possible. We only source ingredients from trusted American family farms who conduct testing on their own soil, and we carefully vet our suppliers to ensure the cleanest possible ingredients. We perform our own third-party testing of all ingredients and final products at established laboratories.
The Clean Label Project has now independently verified what we already knew, that our foods are among the cleanest on the market. They buy our products off grocery shelves, just like our customers do. Then they put it through rigorous testing at the highest sensitivity levels available, and then publish the results.
In addition to meeting their highest standard of cleanliness, they were also very impressed with our recipes and ingredient choices. Clean Label Project Founder and Executive Director Jackie had this to say about us:

"Serenity Kids is the first Clean Label Project certified brand focused on fostering healthy childhood eating patterns through the promotion of nutrient dense diets inclusive of meats and healthy fats. Baby food flavors and ingredients serve as the foundation for the palette a child forms later in life. Much of the current baby food food system caters to a future palette that craves sugar. The unfortunate reality is that the status quo isn't cutting it, and public health statistics show this. According to the Centers of Disease Control, obesity prevalence is 13.9% among 2- to 5-year-olds, 18.4% among 6- to 11-year-olds, and 20.6% among 12- to 19-year-olds. Over 1/3 of the US population is diabetic or prediabetic. It’s about fostering healthy eating habits early on in life. Serenity Kids is a trailblazer in baby food with their novel approach to complete childhood nutrition.”
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have established this partnership to ensure the ongoing purity of our products and support their important mission to help clean up the American food supply. You can learn more about the Clean Label Project and view test results of other products HERE.
