Our Grain Free Puffs are made through a food processing method called extrusion. It’s when soft mixed ingredients are forced through a small opening with high air pressure and high temperature to produce a desired shape, in our case - stars! Our puffs then go through a short drying step to remove excess moisture in order to get them to the desired texture. Then, we spray them with organic olive oil for healthy fats and dust them with the organic dehydrated vegetable seasoning blend. They are sent off to a secondary drying step before being packaged and sealed for freshness

Babies and toddlers can start eating puffs when they can sit independently, use pincer grasp to self feed, crawl with their stomach off the ground, use their jaws to mash food between gums, typically around 7 months and up.

Our Grain Free Puffs are 16-18mm in diameter and they are safe to consume for babies and toddlers per the industry standard. Our puffs begin to dissolve when they interact with saliva, so no teeth are needed to eat them. However, with all foods, we recommend that a child not be left unattended while feeding.

Yes, our canister can be recycled in a standard plastic recycling bin after the outside label is taken off with the easy to remove perforation tear away. We are working on other options so that we can make the entire packaging recyclable in the future.

Unopened, a can will last up to nine months from the date of production. Expiration date is listed on the bottom of the can. We recommend six servings per container, 1/3 cup per serving, and that your little one (or you!) consumes the canister within 5-7 days of opening it for maximum freshness.

Cassava flour is a whole food clean ingredient that is transformed from 100% raw cassava root into a high-quality gluten-free flour that mimics baking performance characteristics similar to grains. The cassava flour that we use is not only organic, but it is also Fair Trade Certified, gluten-free certified, non-allergenic, nut and grain free, non-gmo and Kosher certified. Our Grain Free Puffs are allergen-free. While soy, dairy, and tree-nuts (almond and coconut) are used on the same system at different times, the line is fully cleaned, sanitized, and dried before our production run.

We recommend storing our Grain Free Puffs at room temperature. If you choose to refrigerate them, we recommend an airtight container. If the container is not airtight while refrigerated, the puffs could absorb moisture and go stale quicker. While leaving them in a hot car will not affect the safety of consumption, it could degrade the quality quick

WHY WE CREATED GRAIN FREE PUFFS

As Della grew from a baby into a toddler and increasingly wanted finger foods, I struggled to find convenient, grain-free options. So began the journey of Serenity Kids Grain Free Puffs!

We make them with organic cassava root, a nutrient-rich vegetable starch that can be better tolerated. We add in dehydrated vegetables, olive oil, and grass fed beef bone broth for nutrition and delicious savory flavor.

I’m so excited that parents can feel good about giving these puffs to their little one! My hope is that, by offering healthier options, this next generation can avoid the grain-related health problems that have plagued so many.

Son's favorite.
Our sons favorite flavour... and I can understand why. It tastes like dessert. I feel like I am giving him pumpkin pie. A perfect fall flavor that we enjoy year round.

Healthy snacks my daughter loves!
The only puffs I give my daughter and she loves them! She’s eating them right now as I type! I feel good about giving them to her, I was shocked to learn a about the arsenic in other puffs, oh she just spilled them!

Great product with great flavor
Also, my son LOVES these puffs! The flavor is really great! They taste kind of like pumpkin pie (without the added sugar). I love that this is such a great and clean product, with great ingredients, that I am comfortable with feeding to my child!

Best baby and kids snack on the market!
My daughter loves these puffs they taste amazing and mommy likes them to! Is it perfect for her diaper bag when we’re out on the go for a quick healthy snack that we can feel good about and that’s good for you! We refer this flavor to many friends and family! Will definitely be purchasing more when we are close to running out and we love all the other flavors as well! The ingredients are clean and organic which is what we mostly strive for when feeding our daughter thank you so much serenity for making a great clean on the go snack option that contains zero sugars!
