our multi-step process in
Reviewing Quality
We have a multi-step process in reviewing the quality and composition of ingredients we put into our products.
Supplier & Material Review
We source only from reputable suppliers. For ingredients more prone to absorbing naturally occurring heavy metals from soil—like vegetables—we set strict internal limits and require documentation from suppliers.
Production Review
After each production run, we send out product samples to be tested for heavy metal content. This ensures every batch stays within our strict internal limits and complies with U.S. safety regulations.
Third Party Testing
The Clean Label Project has rigorously tested all our products for over 200 different contaminants, including heavy metals, glyphosate, agrochemicals, plastics, and other toxins.

our proven commitment to
Quality
5-Star Quality Standards
Every ingredient in our products is carefully selected with your baby's health in mind.
State-of-the-Art Safety Program
We’ve developed unmatched quality assurance processes to ensure safety for all.
Heavy Metal Testing
Acknowledging unavoidable environmental contamination, we follow a four-step testing process and prioritize natural, minimally processed ingredients.
Rigorous Supplier Standards
Suppliers conduct testing directly on their soil. Adherence to SQF Level III, the most rigorous food safety audit.

Our products comply with U.S. regulations. When guidelines are absent, we have set our own internal standards, which are inspired by international regulatory & industry standards for heavy metals in order to be closer to zero. Measured in ppb.

FAQ
-
Heavy metals are naturally occurring in the environment due to decades of pollution and contamination of our waters and soil. As a result, all foods are at risk for some level of heavy metal contamination unless they are highly processed and refined.
-
When it comes to feeding, we always recommend a wide variety of foods like meat, leafy greens, root vegetables, and more, to help expand the flavor window and to ensure that there isn’t a sole reliance on foods that could contain higher amounts of heavy metals.
