ABOUT CLEAN LABEL PROJECT
The foundation of food and consumer product safety in America is primarily focused on pathogen and microbiological contaminants. However, there is an increase in consumer, media, and academic attention being paid to the health consequences of exposure to many other contaminants that are overlooked in standard testing, like heavy metals, pesticide residues, and plasticizers. These toxic substances are detrimental to our health, yet companies do not have to disclose this information on product labels.
Clean Label Project™ is a national nonprofit with the mission to bring truth and transparency to food and consumer product labeling. Clean Label Project™ is committed to changing the definition of food and consumer safety through the use of data, science, and transparency. They award brands with products that place an emphasized focus on purity and surpass the minimum regulations required by FDA. A Clean Label Project™ Purity Award gives consumers the confidence to know that the product awarded has been rigorously tested and made with the utmost care.
BECOMING PART OF THE SOLUTION
At Serenity Kids, we partnered with Clean Label Project™ to become part of the solution to address the growing consumer concern of industrial and environmental contaminants and toxins in both food and consumer products. This is exactly why we have such strong standards for how our foods are sourced, where they come from, and why we believe regenerative farming is so crucial.
We were among the first baby food to receive the Clean Label Project Purity Award and we are currently the only toddler formula awarded that is made from grass-fed A2 milk. 🌈
THE CLEAN LABEL PROJECT MISSION
OUR TODDLER FORMULA & THE PURITY AWARD
Clean Label Project™ rigorously tested our new Grass Fed A2 Whole Milk Toddler Formula for over 200 different contaminants (that have long-term potential to adversely affect health and well-being) including heavy metals, glyphosate, agrochemicals, plastics, and other toxins, and determined it meets their highest standard, thus, receiving the Clean Label Project™ Purity Award. Learn more about the award here.
We've worked so hard to take extra steps to minimize consumer exposure to known chemicals of concern in all of our products, and are absolutely thrilled our toddler formula received this monumental award. We hope it gives you continued confidence that Serenity Kids is a brand you can trust to always have your health and your best interest at the forefront of everything we do.
