ABOUT CLEAN LABEL PROJECT
The foundation of food and consumer product safety in America is primarily focused on pathogen and microbiological contaminants. However, there is an increase in consumer, media, and academic attention being paid to the health consequences of exposure to many other contaminants that are overlooked in standard testing, like heavy metals, pesticide residues, and plasticizers. These toxic substances are detrimental to our health, yet companies do not have to disclose this information on product labels.
Clean Label Project™ is a national nonprofit with the mission to bring truth and transparency to food and consumer product labeling. Clean Label Project™ is committed to changing the definition of food and consumer safety through the use of data, science, and transparency. They award brands with products that place an emphasized focus on purity and surpass the minimum regulations required by FDA. A Clean Label Project™ Purity Award gives consumers the confidence to know that the product awarded has been rigorously tested and made with the utmost care.

At Serenity Kids, we partnered with Clean Label Project™ to become part of the solution to address the growing consumer concern of industrial and environmental contaminants and toxins in both food and consumer products.
